The Ladies Music Club coming to the Gunflint Trail

Friday, July 31 at Hungry Jack Lodge from 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 1 at Gunflint Lodge from 7 - 9 p.m. This acoustic group from Saint Paul features three-part harmony, two guitars, string bass and violin—playing a wide range of lovely easy-listening folk and bluegrass style music.

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.

Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings on August 4 at Cook County Whole Foods Co-op from 9:15- 10:15 a.m. and at the Senior Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood sugars cost $3.
